Unless you live someplace where the winters are super harsh, you really can't cool a transmission too much. We typically recommend getting the largest cooler space allows. The most efficient place to install a cooler is directly behind the grille, in front of the radiator.

The cooler you can keep transmission fluid the better basically. 130-160 degrees is actually really awesome as this means your transmission is going to last a very long time. Honestly 180 isn't bad either but 130-160 is better if anything.

Toyota discontinued the Venza in 2015 so your car would have to be a 2015, not a 2016. Kat's does not show a confirmed fit for a block style engine heater for the 3.5L, but you can use their dipstick style heater # KH15200 which is the easiest possible option for any vehicle with an oil dipstick tube of 1/4-inch diameter or larger. This works in any such engine that allows for at least 5-inches of the heating element to be immersed in the oil.

Transmission coolers such as # D13503 are not vehicle specific so you can install or have one installed that fits the space you have available in the engine compartment and as long as your transmission has two external lines that would run to a factory cooler. You would want to install the cooler between the output line of the factory cooler and the return line of the transmission.

I checked through all the remote engine oil filter kits we offer, and although # D15725 has a 22 x 1.5 filter landing, it uses a 3/4-16 threaded filter, as do all the remote kits we offer. I've also looked to see if instead of a kit, just a 22 x 1.5 remote mount was available, but unfortunately we do not offer one of those either.
